Five Guys Copycat Fries

I firmly believe that potatoes should be their own food group, with an emphasis on french fries!
If you’ve ever had Five Guys fries then you understand WHY this recipe is so amazing! You get the delish seasoning mix without all of the greasiness of their fries (and you can enjoy them on Whole30)!

Ingredients
1 large russet potato, sliced into fries
2 Tbsp avocado oil
1 heaping Tsp BBQ seasoning or make your own (below)
S&P to taste for fries
Homemade BBQ seasoning mix
1/4 cup smoked paprika
1 Tbsp onion powder
2 Tsp garlic powder
1 Tsp smoked salt (regular works too)
1 Tsp pepper
Pinch of cayenne (adjust to your preferred level of spice)
Directions
1. Preheat oven or air fryer to 400 and line a baking sheet with foil if using your oven.
2. Toss fries with oil and seasoning and either add to your air fryer or arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet.
3. For air fryer: Fry for 20 minutes, tossing a few times during cooking to ensure even crisping.
3. For the oven: Roast for 20 minutes, flip, and bake for another 20.
4. Serve up with a side of @primalkitchesfoods ketchup, your favorite protein, and a green veggie for the perfectly balanced and delish meal! (Or enjoy an entire batch by yourself as a snack because you deserve it 👏)
